LITTLE CINDERELLA


This is rendering of the famed Cinderella character from Disney’s Cinderella.  It is the continuing series of dolls depicting each of the Disney Princesses and Tinkerbell.

MATERIALS:
Worsted weight yarn:  Buff, bright yellow, light blue, black
Embroidery floss:  White, black, red, yellow
D crochet hook
Polyester fiberfill
Tapestry needle

DOLL:
Make Little Farrah doll with bright yellow hair and eyebrows.

DRESS:
BODICE:
Rw 1: With little blue, ch 15, sc in second ch from hook and in each ch across.  (14)
Rw 2: Ch 1, turn; sc in each sc across.  (14)
Rw 3: Ch 1, turn; sc in ext 4 sc, 2 sc in next 5 sc, sc in next 5 sc.  (19)
Rw 4: Ch 1, turn; sc in each sc across.  (19)
Rw 5: Ch 1, turn; sc in next 2 sc, ch 3, skip next 2 sc, (sc2tog) 5times, ch 3, skip next 2 sc, sc in next 3 sc.  (10, 2 ch-3 spaces)
Finish off leaving a long tail for sewing back seam closed.

SLEEVES:
Rw 1: Attach light blue in second skipped sc, ch1, sc in same sc as slip st, 2 sc in side of Row 5, 2 sc in next 3 chs, 2 sc in side of Row 5, sc in skipped sc.  (12)
Rw 2: Ch 1, turn; sc in next sc, (sc2tog) 5 times, sc in next sc.  (7)
Finish off leaving a long tail to sew sleeve closed.
Repeat in second armhole.

SKIRT:
Rd 1: Attach light blue with slip st in first free loop of foundation ch of BODICE with wrong side facing , ch 1, sc in next 5 ch, 2 hdc in next ch, dc in next ch, 2 hdc in next ch, sc in next 6 sc, join with slip st in first sc.  (16)
Rd 2: Ch 1, turn; sc in next 7 sc, 3 sc in next sc, sc in next 8 sc, join.  (18)
Rd 3: Working in back loops only, ch 3 (Counts as first dc here and throughout), 2 dc in next sc, dc in next sc, 2 dc in next sc) around, join.  (27)
Rds 4-8: Ch 3, dc in each dc around, join.  (27)
Rd 9: Ch 3, dc in next 5 dc, (2 dc in next dc, dc in next 6 dc) around, join.  (30)
Finish off. Weave in ends.

OVERSKIRT:
Starting at center point of front of SKIRT and working in free loops of Rd 2.
Rw 1: Attach light blue, ch 3, 2 dc in next sc, (dc in next sc, 2 sc in next sc) 8 times, dc in same sc as beginning ch-3.  (28)
Rw 2: Ch 3, turn; dc2tog, dcin next 22 dc, dc3tog.  (25)
Rw 3: Ch 1, turn; sc3tog, sc in next 18 dc, sc3tog.  (20)
Finish off.  Weave in ends.

ARM GLOVES (MAKE 2):
Rd 1: With light blue, ch 2,  sc in second ch from hook working around ch.  (7)
Rd 2: sc in each sc around.  (7)
NOW WORKING IN ROWS
Rw 3: slip st in next sc, ch 1, sc in same sc as slip st, sc in next 6 sc.  (7)
Rws 4-8: Ch 1, turn; sc in each sc across.  (7)
Finish off leaving a long tail to sew seam closed.

HAIR RIBBON:
With light blue, ch 20.
Finish off.

ASSEMBLY:
Place DRESS on doll and sew back seam closed.   Place ARM GLOVES on doll and sew seam closed.  Place HEAD RIBBON on head and tie.  Wrap a piece of black yarn around neck of doll and secure.

Use embroidery floss to embroider face on doll.
