LITTLE DR. MANHATTAN

This is rendering of the famed Dr. Manhattan character from DC Comics Watchmen comics and movies.  It is the continuing series of dolls depicting popular comics book characters.  I starting on comics characters as a respond that I was making characters that were for girls.  In the movie, Dr. Manhattan is either naked or dressed in a black suit.  I decided to include a pattern for some underwear with this pattern, but it is completely optional.

MATERIALS:
Worsted weight yarn:  Turqua and navy blue
D crochet hook
Black embroidery floss
Polyester fiberfill
Tapestry needle

DOLL:
Make the LITTLE FARRAH doll with turqua skin and no hair.  Use picture to use embroidery floss to embroider eyes, nose, and mouth on doll.

UNDERWEAR (OPTIONAL):
Rw 1: With navy blue, ch 19, sc in second ch from hook and in each ch across.  (18)  Finish off.
Rw 2: Working in foundation ch, skip 7 ch, attach navy blue in next ch, ch 1, sc in same ch as attachment, sc in next 3 ch.  (4)
Rw 3: Ch 1, turn; (sc2tog) twice.  (2)
Rw 4: Ch 1, turn; sc2tog.  (1)
Rws 5-6: Ch 1, turn; sc in each sc across.  (1)
Rw 7: Ch 1, turn; 2 sc in next sc.  (2)
Rw 8: Ch 1, turn; 2 sc in each sc across.  (4)
Finish off leaving a long tail to sew Rw 8 to foundation ch across from Rw 1.
