LITTLE TINKERBELL


This is rendering of the famed Tinkerbell character from Disney’s Peter Pan and other Tinkerbell movies.  It is the continuing series of dolls depicting each of the Disney Princesses and Tinkerbell.

MATERIALS:
Worsted weight yarn:  Buff, white, spring green, warm brown and bright yellow.
Embroidery floss:  White, black, blue, yellow and red
D crochet hook
Polyester fiberfill
Tapestry needle

DOLL:
Make Little Farrah doll with bright yellow hair and bright yellow eyebrows using a warm brown bow to secure hair in place.

DRESS:
BODICE:
Rw 1: With spring green, ch 14, sc second and third ch  from hook together, sc2tog, sc in next 4 ch, (sc2tog) twice.  (8)
Rw 2: Ch 1, turn; sc2tog, sc in next 4 sc, sc2tog.  (6)
LEFT CUP
Rw 3: Ch 1 ,turn; 2 sc in next 2 sc, sc in next sc.  (5)
Rw 4: Ch 1 ,turn; sc2tog, sc in next sc, sc2tog.  (3)
Rw 5: Ch 1, turn; sc3tog.  (1)
Finish off.  Weave in ends.
RIGHT CUP
Rw 3: Attach spring green in first unworked sc of Row 2, ch 1, sc in same sc, 2 sc in next 2 sc.  (5)
Rw 4: Ch 1, turn; sc2tog, sc in next sc, sc2tog.  (3)
Rw 5: Ch 1, turn; sc3tog.  (1)
Finish off.  Weave in ends.

SKIRT
Rd 1: Working in free loops of foundation ch, attach spring green, Ch 1, 2 sc in same sc, sc in next 10 sc, 2 sc in next ch, ch 2, slip st in first sc.  (14, 1 ch-2 space)
Rd 2: Ch 1, (sc in next 5 sc, 2 sc in next sc) twice, sc in next 2 sc, sc in next 2 ch, join.  (18)
Rd 3: Ch 1, (sc in next 2 sc, 2 sc in next sc) around, join.  (24)
TRIANGLE 1
Rw 4: Slip st in next sc, *ch 1, sc in same sc, sc in next 2 sc.  (3)
Rw 5: Ch 1, turn; sc3tog.  (1)

Rd 2: 2 sc in each sc around.  (10)
Rds 3-4: sc in each sc around.  (10)
NOW WORKING IN ROWS
Rw 5: Slip st in next sc, ch 1, sc in same sc as slip st, sc in next 2 sc, (sc2tog) twice, sc in next 3 sc.  (8) Finish off leaving a long tail to sew seam closed.

ASSEMBLY:
Place DRESS on doll and sew in place.  Sew SMALL WINGS together.  Sew LARGE WINGS together.  Sew WINGS to back of doll overlapping wings.  Place SHOES on feet and sew seam closed.

Use embroidery floss to embroider face on doll.
