WARRIOR HOUNDOOM

This is an adaptation of my Jerry the German Shepherd to turn him into Houndoom that is dressed for battle.  This pattern includes the list for both Houndoom and Shiny Houndoom so that it can be made with either.

MATERIALS:
Worsted weight yarn (Shiny alternative in parenthesis):  Black (delft blue), carrot (orange), white, gray (white), red, taupe, and café latte.

FRONT LEGS SHOULDER STRAPS (MAKE 2):

Rws 3-50: Ch 1, turn; sc in each sc across.  (4)  Change to café latte after Rw 50.
Rd 51: Ch 1, sc evenly around outside edge with 3 sc on each corner and end point, slip st in first sc.  Finish off leaving a long tail.  Sew straight edge of CAPE STRAP underside 1 sc from edge of where CAPE started.  Sew end point to CAPE COLLAR BOTTOM near right shoulder.

PIPE BODY:
Rd 1: With café latte, 8 sc in magic ring.  (8)
Rds 2-5: sc in each sc around.  (8)
Finish off.  Weave in ends.

PIPE HANDLE:
Rw 1: With café latte, ch 4, sc in second ch from hook and in each ch across.  (3)
Rw 2: Ch 1, turn; sc in each sc across.  (3)  Change to white.
Rw 3: Ch 1, turn; sc in each sc across.  (3)  Change to café latte.
Rws 4-6: Ch 1, turn; sc in each sc across.  (3)
Finish off leaving a long tail.  Wrap PIPE HANDLE around piece of floral wire.  Sew one end to PIPE BODY and the other end to MUZZLE.  Weave in ends.
