D8

This continues my series of dice used in Dungeons and Dragons, along with most dice-based role-playing games.  The D8 is basically a 3-dementional Rhombus.  The dice can be made in any color.  The color for the numbers will, of course, be determined based on the color of the dice—white with dark dice color or black with light dice color.

MATERIALS:
Worsted weight yarn:  Dice color and white/black
E crochet hook
Polyester Fiberfil
Tapestry needle

DICE SIDES (MAKE 8):
Rd 1: With dice color, 6 sc in magic ring, slip st in first sc.  (6)
Rd 2: Ch 1, (sc in next sc, 3 sc in next sc) around, slip st in first sc.  (12)
Rd 3: Ch 1, (sc in next 2 sc, 3 sc in next sc, sc in next sc) around, slip st in first sc.  (18)
Rd 4: Ch 1, (sc in next 3 sc, 3 sc in next sc, sc in next 2 sc) around, slip st in first sc.  (24)
Finish off.  Weave in ends.  Using white/black, embroider numbers on DICE SIDES.  Sew DICE SIDES together stuffing before closing.
